From Corfu’ to Zakintos and back!!!

Our Verro Sailing Team (TM) 😀 successfully completed Ionian Greek Islands 14 days exploration mission on Fata Morgana, a Bavaria 40 sailing boat from Kiriacoulis Chartering company!

I’ve been the captain of a courageous crew of 3 people and everything has happened during the travel (crossed anchors, old enemy mariners trying to sink us in the harbour , lost crew members in the sea 😀 …) but, at the end, we were back at the starting base (Gouvia Marina in Corfu’) on time and alive 🙂

We have been sailing for about 300 nautical miles and our pirates flag has been seen from Corfu’ to Paxos, Antipaxos, Lefkas, Cephalonia, Ithaca and Zakintos!

Here is Fata Morgana moored to the dock in Lefkas Marina after entering the scary Lefkas channell and passing the floating bridge (which opens every two hours and close as soon as possible trying to sink the largest number of boats…) 😀

Update 😀

We went back to Gouvia this summer for another two weeks and 350 nautical miles navigation mission 😀 across the Ionian…

This time we rent Aspro, a Cyclades 39 from Vernicos Yacht

The Gouvia bareboat assistance was performed by Angela Thanasis and her husband. They were very kind and helpful! Here is Angela Business card.
